I removed the A/C out of my 1995 Eclipse RS, which led to removing some of the EVAP system and charcol canister...Im putting a new engine in with the EGR blocked off and I need some help putting the vacuum lines in and getting the car to run I just dont know where and what to hook up with the EVAP,A/C and EGR blocked off..here are some pictures of what im working with..thanks in advance for the help...~Dustin

Picture1-I removed this from the passanger side fender that alot of stuff led to it...don't know what is was but now it leaves a electrcial connector behind and two other lines ran from it, which led to two hard lines and one of them splits off to anouther hard line which I think runs to the gas tank(picture2) and I removed the rest of the lines...just need some help hooking up new vac lines for the new engine...sorry long post..

I'm not exactly clear what you're question is... but I think this is what you're looking for:

There are about five vacuum ports on the intake manifold and one on the throttle body. The port on the front of the intake manifold goes to the PCV valve and the large port on the back, toward the throttle body side, goes to the brake booster (the vacuum hose for this is a dealer only part, it has a special check valve in it). There are three smaller ports gathered in one spot toward the MAP sensor side of the intake manifold. The one on the left goes to the fuel pressure regulator, the one in the middle goes to the cruise control unit, and the one on the right goes to the EGR valve. The single port on the front of the throttle body goes to the charcoal canister.

I would remove the EVAP system, it'll only complicate things otherwise. You can get small rubber balloon shaped plugs to cover and vacuum port you aren't using.

The thing in your picture is the charcoal canister (apart of the EVAP system). It is connected to the intake manifold and the gas tank, plus it has a few electrical connections for the purge valve and such. Like I said, I wouldn't bother with it; just cap off the line going to the gas tank, cap the vacuum port, and disregard the electrical connections.

yea sorry for the complication but that helps out alot!...I just needed to know which vaccum lines needed to be hooked up to get the car running without evap and the EGR blocked off..thanks ~Dustin
