I think I really may have messed something up.
I'm new to DSM's, bought one at a great price that just needed an oil pump. Anyhow, the exhaust cam timing wasn't right in relation to the intake, so I tried to get that as close to the intake as well (cam sprocket dowels lining up...).
Well, now being the genius that I am, I put everything back without trying and hand cranking, etc. Timing belt went back on.. cover, pullies, etc. Couldn't hand crank it past s certain point. wouldn't stat either. could go to that point where I could hand crank it to and stop.
Now before you go telling me I'm an idiot, trust me I know.
This is my first venture into DSM's, I've owned 2 F-bodies previously. Probably valves smacking the pistons, not allowing further rotations, right? Should I just put the exhaust cam back where it was after I take the timing belt back off?...
thanks for any help.
