Unplugged battery and now ecu is messed up?

my freind unlocked my talon from the inside with the windows half way rolled down, and the stock alarm started going off, well i popped hood and disconnected battery because i do not have the keychain thing for the alarm... well i plug battery back in and start it up to go get lunch and at a red light the tac was bouning off the first line right before it was about to stall, i had to keep reviung it to keep it running, but i let it fall and it wouldnt stall... it would stay at the last line and bounce off. i dont know whats going on, and when i got back to work it was idleing fine, i havent gone out again to test it and my boss was yelling CRANKWALK... so i am getting sad so cheer me up and tell that its my comp re-setting or something please.

Mine does the same thing each time the battery is unplugged for a while. Yes, it's just the ECU starting from scratch and slowly fine tuning things. It should be normal after a day or so.

Give it a few hours.
It will be fine.
