ok well iv got my tsi modded out and went and had the exhaust put on and a few other thing at this shop and the thing in a beast atm.. but today i was going down the road and my rear o2 sensor fell out, it shorted out something and my car lost all power so i took it back to the show and showed them it and they replaced my ecu with a new one out of a gsx. the car is back to running like a dream but i have 2 questions,

first question is will this ecu be ok ? i mean its from a gsx and i have a tsi.

second question is can i save my ecu ? as my old one was eprom and the new one is not.. but its from the same year just from a gsx not a tsi.

thanks for that post snow i took my ecu apart and that is exactly what mine has done!
now do u have a step by step on how to solder in the new joint ? i know the bored has some stuff on it like glue?

edit i fixed the ecu with some wire and solder. now does anyone want to buy this other ecu ? its out of a 1995 gsx.
