Uicp ?

i'm looking to for hard uicp for a 1g and i have $150 to spend where can i get it at that price? it needs to be flanged for greddy or 1g bov, tb and all

You could buy the flanges and make one up yourself for really cheap or check out dejon tool they have some nice uicp's, they are around 180 if i remember though a lil more than you want to spend but worth it. http://dsm.dejonpowerhouse.com/

Almost forgot about the dave brode intercooler pipe those are usually really cheap, around $100 new, but you would also have to purchase a 2g throttle body elbow or something of the sort. That would only cost about 25 to 30 used on the classifieds or something.

Do you have 2G TB elbow?
Are you looking for 2.25" or 2.5" pipe?

I'd go with the Dave Brode intercooler pipe($73 shipped is what I payed). You'll have to paint it yourself though if you don't want the bov flange to rust($5 can of spray paint).

yeah i was trying to find a website to go and order a dave brode but i couldnt find one? i want 2.5" probably..and no i dont have a 2g tb elbow is that 2.5 or what. if you know anybody selling one let me know..also should i get the 1g bov flange or the greddy if i'm not quite for sure ### i have a greddy also i know you can use one of them for both but which one is it after you drill holes in the flange?

For most 2.5" is plenty... Keep in mind the lower part of the UICP has to be 2.25" to fit properly with your stock intercooler, but dejontool makes a larger SMIC that works nice with a 2.5" pipe. The bigger it is the less lag there will be Oh, and yeah you'll notice a fairly big difference with an upgraded UICP since the stock once goes down to about .5" where it bends into the stock SMIC.

thats good because I have a custom one going in on the engine im building up, but i dont know what size it is. Im swapping over from an n/t and the engine im dropping in is a gst motor. Its already built up and in the car the only thing left to complete the swap is the wiring.

If you're ordering from dejontool then it comes with everything included for installation (including the gasket I believe).

Yes, check dejontool, their 1G UICP's come with the tb elbow.

To check on ABS I would probably just slam on my brakes, but that's probably the wrong way of doing it If you do it that way just roll down a gravel road at like 30km/h and slam your brakes

As for the gasket, I would just make my own, just go to your local autoparts store and they should have the material you need. I made a gasket for my 1G BOV with just a piece of rubber.

Ahh, after a quick search I found that only 92+ dsm's have ABS, so NO you don't have ABS
