Uic Gm Maf

Hey im shopping around for a new UIC when I get my 2g car and im going to put the 1g BOV onto it. I been shopping for then Dejon Tool UIP-2gD the three peice one says it fits the GMAF30 Mass air sensor. Now do the stock cars come with the GMAF30 MAS for the UIC or is this something Id half to buy seperate just as a additional option?

On the tech guide im following basically what I should do to upgrade but I skipped a few and went straight down to the UIC to get ride of the plastic one in the stock and to buy one that has a 1g BOV flange on it. Will this hurt anything before upgradeing the turbo and stuff?

the gm mas is a blow thru setup which puts the mas in your intercooler piping instead of in the air box, yes you have to buy a gm mas and no buying the piping wont hurt anything, you can buy a gm mas and maft and just cut a little section outta your uicp to put the gm mas in. then you can vent your bov, get a basic tune witht he maft and will pick up some added hp
