turning on my headlights turns off interior lights!?!

1999 Mitsubishi eclipse gsx.

So I've had this problem for a while now and I can't quite figure out a solution. When I turn on my headlights, it turns off all my interior lights (cluster and HVAC).

Any help is appreciated.

You will need to check some wiring, not sure which ones though as I haven't changed headlights.

Someone else will chime in with which wires.

Tell us more about your car. Aftermarket HID's, alarms etc.

If you have aftermarket gauges a wire was probably tapped incorrectly

I figured it out. Wiring was the problem. In behind the aftermarket deck, the retard who owned my car before I did really made a rats nest installing it. Thanks to 12volt.com, I was able to reconfigure the stereo harness and interior illumination.
