Alright so everything seemed honkey dorey until last night when I was out driving. Street lights were coming on so when i was at a stop light I turned my lights on, instantly the car shut off. I got it started again with the lights off and it seemed normal, then I turned the lights on and it shut right off again. I checked the voltage with DSMLink and a batter tester and its a good 13+ volts.

The battery is about 2 weeks old so today I changed the alternator. Still having same problem. I checked the connections and they seem fine.

Car starts fine everytime, only problem is when lights come on.

Ideas?

Sounds like you have a frayed wire somewhere. Check the wires from your leadlights and run them back as far as possible looking for an opening or something wrong with the wire. My guess is that there is an open wire touching the chasis or another wire casuing the car the shut off by creating a bad ground somwhere. Check it out, let us know.

I just took my lights off and looked and I didnt see any wires hanging out or anything, ill go double check the looming and everything.
