im in the middle of another engine build and had some questions about going 2.3 or 2.4 stocker on a hybrid motor in a 2g.
i currently have a 6 bolt clock with a 2g head in my 2g. im about to put a new virgin cranck into it but a friend told me to look into going stroke engine.
now ive read about using the 4g64 with 2g cars (6bolt or 7 bolt)
and you need a g4cs for 1g DSM.
but one thing i was told (not sure if its true so confirm) is that i can just get the crank, rod, pistons from a 2.4 (6bolt im assuming) machine my block and it will work just fine.
no need for diffirent timing belt or cam gears. now is this true and if so do i need to put a spacer on the block for piston clearance or its a direct fit (after machine work)
