Is there anybody on here that has had some experience with their exhaust manifold. I am wondering how well it holds up and how well it works. If its any good then its not a bad price. I have a cracked exhaust manifold now, and the budget im on this one doesnt sound all that bad. But i would like to hear from some people that have had experience with it. Is it worth it?

It works great, just like an EVO III manifold. It even has a EGT hole in case you decided to install an EGT gauge. I had the manifold on my 2g GST.

Ok thank you. So it is worth the money. Ok how well do you think it would work on a 400awhp car?

I've used this manifold for a few months now, and so far so good. The only issue I had was that I had to grind-off part of my power steering pump bracket to get it to fit - however, I believe this is only an issue on automatics.

I run this manifold as well. I was a little hesitant about it because it's priced so low, but it really does work great. Like zippyshoe mentioned, I believe I had to grind off a bit of the bracket as well, not a big deal though. All in all I think that this product is well worth the money.

I love it, it holds so much more air then the stock 2g, holds up great and also I never had any fitment issues.

The casting on the right side of the manifold was the issue with mine. I had to grind down the manifold for it to slide past the mount. It didn't take more than .080" though. Good buy!:thumb:

Does that manifold fit the stock heat shield or like an sbr heatshield?

Stock heat shield will fit over it, it's slightly tighter but it still fits just fine.

I'm so glad to hear all these good testimonials. I was really skeptical to buy this mani but now it seems like its green lights.

Yes, it's a great piece.

I agree. I have my factory upper and lower heatshields installed with this manifold without any problem.

I read the article they have on the EVO III.....anyone using the GT EVO Big 16g yet? The article didnt mention but whats the output hp compare to the reguler BIG EVO 16g?

Also theres a lil note when you're trying to buy the whole EVO package saying that *note: This kit works with factory piping only* are they refering to the IC piping? or what piping?

I assume it means it wont bolt up to a FMIC piping that isnt designed for a upward facing turbo. Stock turbos and piping routes much differently. The outlet for a 16g is angled as a 14b would be.

An easy fix not a big deal if you plan on going front mount. Dont let that hold you back from getting one. My 2g solution kit is in the mail. Hope to have good results. Ill let you guys know.:thumb:

I have a evo 3 Gt manifold on my 1g fwd and it works great. It outflows a 2g ported manny by far and has more nickel in there to resist cracking. It also comes with the egt probe to install a egt gauge. I did have to shave some of the manny off to make it fit by the driver's side engine mount ( ps bracket) but other than that everything is great. Hope this helps
