GT Exhaust Manifolds

I've done research on these GT exhaust manifolds through searching the forums but my question is, are these two exhaust manifolds the exact same? One is from dsmparts.com and the other is from turbochargers.com.

I'm just curious because the one from dsmparts says it's made from a strong nickel composite but the one from turbochargers doesn't have much of a description. If anybody knows if these are in fact the same mani, please let me know. Thanks.

i own the dsmparts GT manifold- the only difference is that the dsnparts GT maifold is pre-tapped for the EGT probe.- i have a EGT gauge so it was very useful not to screw up on drilling through my 2G manifold

So, you're saying you are pretty sure that they are made of the exact same materials?

i believe that they are made of the same materials- im just including my info- the DSMparts GT man. is very strong and is visually stronger than the 2G- im like the pre-EGT tap port in it- the runners are larger- and its not much more- i would get the DSMparts GT, the other has little info anyway, and i have had very good experience with the DSMparts GT manifold

Just wanted to do a follow up on an old thread for any of you out there who are searching or trying to decided whether or not to get this manifold. I did buy the Turbochargers GT Exhaust manifold right after I started this thread, about a year ago. It has been holding up great ever since and I like the fact that it's pre-tapped for an EGT gauge if I ever decide to get one. Well worth the money IMO.

Mine has been on my car for a little over a year now, you cant beat the price for the qaulity manifold that it is. I would highly recomend it. Good to see you are happy with yours also.

Mines has been ordered and is on the way. Did any of you 1g guys have trouble with it fitting right in the right corner, I heard something has to be trimmed over there to make it fit because its more so for a 2g.

I bought one a couple months ago and it has worked out great. The only problem I had was trying to get a nut on one of the studs on top. I'm going to have to grind a little on the manifold under the stud.

I also like mine, however, its fricken heavy. And after the release of the new FP mani..well you know.
But overall a great product aside from the weight.

Yeah its way heavy! I couldn't get the nut on the stud farthest to the left at the bottom, cause I don't have anything to get down in there with, but quality is great!
