Turbo TD05H 1G

It could be either a 14b or 16g turbo. The only problem with that is it's gonna take a lot of modification to be able to bolt that onto your car since it is a 420a NT. I don't have a lot of experience with 420a engines so hopefully someone else can chime in, but I would think it wouldnt be worth it since you would pretty much have to fab up your own custom kit to make it work(turbo manifold, 02 housing, fuel mods, exhaust, tuning device etc)

There are some aftermarket 420a turbo kits but that all depends on your budget

There's TONS of aftermarket turbo stuff for the 420A.
And it could be a LOT more than just a 14B or 16G, you'll need to actually get pictures up if the serial numbers don't match up with what's been posted.
 
Also, if its on a 1g...and you have a n/t 2g...unless you have the European N/T with the nice 4g63 NT in there...its not going to work.
 
Um, what's wrong with a T3 log manifold... I know some guy somewhere was selling one.
There's absolutely nothing wrong with them- however they won't fit any turbo that was ever intended to be a direct bolt-on for a DSM....unless you've come up with some way to make a square peg fit into a round hole.

I always thought you can use any turbo as long as the manifold matches.... for example T3/T4?
Correct....but a TD05H from a DSM cannot fit a T3 manifold without the use of an adapter flange.

I've always felt the Evo VIII/IX 16G would be a great turbo for a 420A if you had the ability to cut the head flange off an Evo VIII manifold and weld a 420A head flange in it's place. The turbo is facing the correct direction (inlet toward the driver's side) and places the exhaust outlet out of the way as well.
