turbo swap

I dont know if this is the right place but here it goes anyway. i have a stock 2002 1.5liter mirage, the 4g15 engine. Well with that car the 95-99 turbo eclipse throttle body works interchangeably allowing me to go from 48mm to 55mm. I was wondering if any of the real experienced mechanics in here could tell me if its possible to have a custom intake manifold made for my engine to fit the throttle body and turbo off the eclipse? sorry to ask here but no one on mirageforums.net was helping me

The '95-'99 TB is actually 52mm. If you're going to swap to a different TB, I suggest the '90-'94 since it's 60mm. It doesn't take too much to swap that onto a '95-'99 so I assume it wouldn't be too hard for the Mirage. I'm not sure how hard or easy it would be to custom make a sheet-metal intake manifold, but I'm sure someone out there could do it for some money...

Making a custom intake manifold would not help you run the turbo from an eclipse, you would also need a custom exhaust manifold.
