Hi everybody. I just got a 93 Talon n/t with an engine knock, the guy at the dealership said one of the valves was stuck down and hitting a piston, so i got it as is for 600
mint body. Anyways, I got the car with the hopes of turboing it. I was thinking an engine swap. Since this has the mitsubishi 4g63 engine in it shouldn't a turbo 4g63 use the same motor mounts and bolt right up to the transmission?
Is the tranny the same thats in the turbo models?
Will a turbo clutch go with my n/t tranny?
Need a new ecu?
Where are some good sites to order engines from?
How much work is involved? Could i do this in my garage? I'd like to do this so i can learn a lot about my car.
