alright. it doesn't happen all the time but when it does i want to drive it off a cliff even though its been my fav. after a lot. i'll b just cruising in 3nd through 4th and i go to give her a lil bit of gas and she'll spool up to 18 lbs. but she won't go anywhere like hitting a brick wall. but noot all the time. any suggestions? thanks alot newbie:cry:

boost leak test for starters. cause you might be making 18lbs of boost but it might not be making it to the engine

Is the clutch slipping? Go 25mph and put in in third gear. Then floor it. If the rpms go up but the car doesn't accelerate then your clutch is slipping. Sometimes they will only do this after the clutch is warm so you might have to drive it a little first.

Does it accelerate fo a second then stop? If it is then you are probably hitting fuel cut.

+1

5 bucks to make it and 20 for a good portable air tank. Make sure you measure the psi and bring a squirt bottle full of soapy water.

Good luck and post back.
