Spools but no go!!???

Odd on-going battle. The turbo is spooling but the car is doing nothing {its building boost} I know its not a boost leak and its probobly the wastegate actuator. Is there an easy fix for this? Is it the actuator rod that sticking...or not moving?

Check to see if the vacuum hose is connected. I had the same problem with my 98 eclipse gs-t. i found out that the vacuum hose was disconnected. I think that might be the problem

that sounds like the exact problem with my car its builds boost but it doesnt give it any power it doesnt happen everytime i accelerate but it does almost evertime i drive.i checked all of my hoses and everything is goodand in place.could it be my plugs or my wires or timing.i need to get it fixed sio i can sell it. too many problems.thanks

is it sputtering or running hot or anything like that? might double check your timing too

Its not sputtering at all like it did with the bov i used to have that vented. it just feels like somethings stopping it from goin. Everything seems normal except for the problem. As for being hot. I checked my plugs the other day and they were white. just on the prong the threads were oily.The temp gauge seems to be reading normal besides going up 3/4 of the way when just getting warmed up then going back down and staying in the middle. Gotta get it figured out. I need to race tomorrow befor i get rid of it. thanks
