I've been noticing a problem with my turbo and i'm not sure at all what is happening. Sometimes(not all the time) I'll be in like 2nd gear then ill hit the gas and the turbo will spool loud but i feel no power whatsoever. The turbo is spooling yet it is forcing NO AIR into the engine. I'm not quite sure if something is just not properly tuned correctly. I also noticed when i pass the spooling point like at 2500 rpms, i will feel a slight boggle. I'm not quite sure if thats normal but if you guys have any suggestions id appreciate it! Also, i have a list of mods in my profile, check them out plz.
Thanks
-Kevin

Build one of these and check for boost leaks.

No more than 20 psi with a bike pump unless you want to fix boost leaks you just created by over pressurizing your intake system....
Also, NGK BPR6ES gapped to .028" is the recipe you need....
They say to through away your Denso Iridiums, they say they foul out by the second stop sign....
You will find people that sware be them, but I had them, replaced them, and notice power delivery was smoother and harder.... I'll never spend $48 bones on plugs again....

LOL funny that you say that. I just spent $60 on the plugs damnit..... oh well i guess ill keep them in there for now but ill upgrade later. man thats a bummer though! I just gotta figure this problem out

Actually Bro, you'll be buying a set of 4 NGK BPR6ES's for the price of 1 Denso Iridium..... Sucks doesn't it... Our cars love NGK plugs....
Oh yeah, and don't forget to build that Boost Leak Tester....
I had the same problems you are describing.
Turned out to be a blown coupler at the UICP & IC interface, repaired that with a piece of rad hose.
Perhaps injector seals. I could smell fuel and see a wet spot on intake runner #4, turned out the injector o-ring was torn up....
Just pump it up to 20psi, and listen carefully.
Maybe a spray bottle with dish soap to make bubbles will help track that pesky boost leak down....

Cool, will do. thanks for the info. I also have another question kind of off topic.
I am going to be buying the GReddy 24R FMIC.I heard that you may have to do some cutting like to the bumper or to the bumper guard or some shit.... is that true?
Also i am thinking about buying a Big 16g Turbo i was also wandering if my oil lines will match up from my stock pos T25 because i heard they dont and ill need to buy a kit. this is what i heard
"you can re-route your coolant lines from your stock T-25 and simply replace your
oil return line with the 1G piece. You will still need to aquire a turbo outlet elbow
from somewhere. "
-Dont quite know what that means though. LOL

I don't mean to be a dick, but if you don't know about those things, it's probably not a good idea to buy a Big 16g just yet.

Take care of the boost leaks, get rid of those Denso plugs, and follow the upgrade path in our forums.... 2g 300Hp Upgrade Path....

Cutting your bumper is the least of your worries.
A T-25 doesn't work well with that big of an IC, it simply doesn't flow enough.
For the price of your IC, you can buy all of the supporting mods indicated in that link.... you'll be much happier.... Learn to tune your car and then turn up the boost....

Peace

Just thought i'd mention that i took out the Denso's and bought the NGK BPR6ES Plugs for $7 bucks, Gapped em to .028 and my DSM has never run better. You were right, those denso's were Junk. Thanks bro
