So I'm in the final stages of getting my setup running but I'm having fitment issues with the -10an return line and front motor mount. Basically the front motor mount is on the way and will not allow for the hose to clear at all. I'm wondering if any of you have run into this issue. Should I grind the motor mount? Use a different fitting? Any help is appreciated!

Setup is ERL manifold mated to a PTE 6152 T3 turbo.

Mind taking a picture for the masses to see?

Since I don't know how it looks, have you tried rotating the center section to fix the issue? Perhaps you need different fittings? But, a picture will help better :)

Yes mine hits to...I used a 45* on the top and a straight barb on the oil pan..it still is not how i want it, it kinks a bit...heres mine bottom left

Thanks for the reply guys. Here is a pic to better show what I'm talking about.

I was thinking I could use a 45* fitting but I don't see that clearing the motor mount. Also you have a direct bolt on turbo so its in the same place but with ERL mani it seems that the turbo is placed right over the mount.

Actualy it looks like you have more clearence then me, I couldnt even get my straight fitting close to sitting flush on the threads

I should probably take a side angle picture because i dont even have any space at all to put the hose. The fitting is literally over the motor mount.

I just cut the one on my buddy Steve's car last weekend in order to achieve clearance for the HX40 that is being installed. The previous owner had a SBR G60 on the car and the oil drain was routed around the roll stop as shown in post #4 above, and it was nearly kinked 100% shut. The turbo was dumping oil into the exhaust housing as a result.

I'll have to see about getting some pics up when it's finally on the car. :thumb:

I'm running a PTE 6262 on an erl manifold on a VR4 and as Justin mentioned I found just hacking the mount the easiest option. My line is -12 too so there would be plenty of clearance for your -10. I actually wouldn't run anything smaller than -12 on that turbo myself but I guess plenty of people will disagree with me on that one.

For the sump end I just cut the flange off of a stock return and welded some steel tube to it at an angle that doesn't kink the line at all.
You can just see it in the bottom pic.

Thanks for the pictures man! That helped a lot. The reason I have -10 line is because it came with the kit. I'm not sure if I should get a -12 since I do have a JB turbo. With that being said, any opinions on -10 vs -12?

That looks pretty good leepen! In the second picture though, it looks like there is a kink on the line as it bends towards the middle. Be sure to check that out or change to a hose line. I do have a 45* fitting so tomorrow i will change it out to see if that gives a better clearence.
