Finally bought a flexible oil feed line to replace my home made one I made out of brake line many years ago. The new one connects to the turbo, but it looks like I need a inverted flared 3/8 BSPT fitting to fit the oil filter housing. The other end of the oil feed line is a 1/8 MIP or NPT male fitting. Any idea where I can get a male inverted flare 3/8 BSP to 1/8 female adapter? or is there an easier way to connect this turbo up? :idontknow:

This is what most of us use.

I don't know about the "inverted flare" part of your request
Thanks for the replies. I realize now the inverted flare was if I used the stock fitting that is already threaded into the 3/8 BSP at the OFH. I have no idea what size or type is it but it is where the original turbo oil feed was fed from. It has a restrictor built in so an option is to find an adapter that threads in there. A 1/4" brake line fitting threads into it but then I have to find a fitting with the right flared end, and adapt it to 1/8 NPT.. so I'll probably just go with the 3/8" adapter.

Someone has retapped it. All of the threads on the OFH itself are BSPT.
The easiest way is to use -4AN line from the OFH to the turbo and an adaptor from BSPT to AN. Very easy.

I was thinking the same. Just this last weekend I installed an oil pressure gauge on the head, which was definitely a 1/8" BSP fitting, identical to the fitting on the OEM gauge sending unit on the OFH. I found an adapter set that included a female 1/8 NTP to male 1/8 BSP at my local Autozone.

OP’s talking about the threads in the original adapter from the oil filter housing for the 2Gs, not the threads in the housing itself. It’s a 3/8 BSPT male thread at the housing that reduces down to a different thread, with that inverted flare that was discussed earlier.

Yes, that fitting the arrow is pointing at is a 7/16-24 1/4" inverted flare fitting. It looks like it has an oil restrictor in it, so I was hoping to adapt my 1/8 NPT oil line to that, but it was too much hassle. Got a 3/8 BSPT to 1/8 NPT adapter instead and will run a seperate oil restrictor.
