I am in the process of changing the adapter coming off of the oil filter housing. I am changing it in case my car throws a belt, I do not want to trash my oil line, for it comes out at 90* right in the path of a belt.
When I pulled it I noticed the hole on the adapter I am wanting to install is smaller than the one I had on it. Is this a problem? Basically, what I am asking is in the picture below, is it fine to use the fitting with the smaller hold (right) than the one with the bigger hole (left)? Both have the same exit hole diameter. Will it affect oil presure to the turbo?
