So, in the process of swapping my 14b out for a new one, I get almost all the way there and have 2 bolts to go (2 on O2 Housing to exhaust housing).

Of the 3 bolts that go O2 -> exhaust housing, I got one, and one is coming but being a bear and the last one surprised me and turned out to be a nut and a stud setup (previous owner maybe?).

This is bad because the nut came right off, but didn't take the stud with it.
I am hoping that once I get the 3rd tough bolt that I can just slide it off (?). If this doesnt work, how can I get the stuck stud out? (already tried pliers, then Vise grips)?

Thanks!

it's two bolts and a stud/nut, it's supposed to be that way. if you look at where the stud is you'd understand why they put it there instead of a bolt.

why do you want to take the stud off? how else are you going to attatch the O2 housing to the turbine housing at that spot?

I see, because it has to hook onto something for the install mounting(?).

Well, I guess now I don't want to take the stud off! :D So otherwise just pound it off after that last bolt is off?
