I installed a ported evo3 16g turbo in my 97 gsx today and afterwards i am having some problems. I have an air fuel ratio gauge which i know is not the most accurate thing to have but it has stopped working and sometimes the first light on the lean side will flicker on and off. I ported my exaust manifold and o2 housing when i did the install. I also have a manuel boost controller that i had set at 12psi. When i drove the car the car boosted to 19psi instead of the 12 that the controller was set for. i ensured that it was hooked up correctly and tried turning the boost down and it still does the same thing. Also my check engine light has came on too. i was just wondering if anyone had any advice or had this happen to them too.

Well i finished porting the o2 housing except for the shining it up part. I did see the part where i could cut more out of the divider in the wastegate re-entry path and i did do that. I rounded out the turbine part of the o2 housing. I am about to start back on the turbo inlet but how deep into the inlet should i go. Should i go down to where the inlet changes shape or what? Thanks fo any help.

Well I finished porting the inlet and here is the pictures. I didnt realize how much farther I could port until i started doing it and seeing that i could go farther. I put the turbo back on the car and drove it. The boost creep is solved!!!!! When I hit the gas it goes to 13psi which is what the mbc is set for and holds there until the upper rpms and then it will go to 14-15psi but thats not a problem at all. The pictures were kind of glared because the flash glared on it. Thanks for everyones help especially oldman i could have never fixed without the guidance from everyone.
