I have a K&N FIPK filter with a 2G MAS. I want to replace the pipe between my turbo and MAS. Dejon and Injen make cast pipes, but they are quite expensive. RRE has a 3" pipe and you cut your stock flex tube (I have done the dump tube mod to mine).

Personally, I don't like the idea of cutting up my stock parts nor do I want to shell out ~$150. With the exception of the CBV recirculation tube, its just a darn pipe.

Any avenues I'm not exploring? For my daily driver is this really something I should be concerned about replacing? I have a T-25, what is the cold inlet size?

Update: So I found this for an Evo

Crazy Expensive. My guess is the oval-shaped back of the 2G MAS is way too big for anything made from silicon turbo hose.
