Turbo Ideas?

I have a 95 gsx automatic right now and recently was able to pick up a second car for pretty cheap so I'm turnin the gsx into a race car I guess you could say . I'm thinking I'm gonna buy IPT's full tranny with the IPT 9 1/2 inch Billet Converter w/ Multi-Disk Lock-up Clutch. Also an upgraded tranny cooler. Was wondering what A good Turbo, Manifold, and wastegate set-up would be for a 450 500 awhp car. Any info would be great. Also the motor has about 3k miles on it its all stock components tryin not to tear it apart till a lil down the road so something that would be good on the stock motor.

whats up all ill be doin the car w/ him...i dont know about manifolds but what about a tial 38mm (too small?) wastegate and a gt35r as a turbo...

the only way that wastegate would be too small would be if you were running very low boost numbers, meaning you want a lot of the exhaust gasses exiting through the wastegate rather than spooling the turbo more. If you install a wastegate that is very small and you want to run lets say only 5 psi then you would get boost creep. Since we generally run upwards of 15 psi it's been my experience that a 38 is fine. I've never had any creep even with my 1 bar spring in my tial 38.

not all of those turbos apply at all, the bottom 3 *highly recommend* a stroked motor or a beefed up head and the top ones are all for like 550+ hp...we are looking for a good stock motor turbo that could make upwards of 450awhp or so...the rs65 from agp looks good and i am very familiar w/ them and have done business w/ them for my srt4...those other turbos are way too big though

Any ideas would be nice lookin to snag a turbo for xmas like I said I want something that will spool around 4000 and not really need a built motor for now.
