I put a tubular manifold, external wastegate and a t3/t4e 60-1 turbo...

The turbo sits so low that when I put my rubber 90'degree reducing elbow on, it lays right on top of the front Motor/Transmission mount....

I know that would be bad to take out....

Has anyone else had fitment issues with that mount? If so, what did you do to fix it...?

(I have everything connected, the elbow is being bent around the mount which I don't like)

Do you have any pics so that we can see what kind of rom you have to work with? What manifold are you using?

By the way you're going to love that 60-1 when you get her running.

I hope i love it...

Right now its runnin like POO!! I got a huge exhaust leak coming straight off the manifold so I can't spool up for crap haha...

I'm gonna fix that tomorrow though.

I need another full inch or 2.... I could possibly flip the compressor housing to point up but that would be a whole lot of re-routing and lots of hassle.

Routing shouldn't be too bad. I mean, with the way the core sits on my 14b, we had to route it similar to what some galants do. Up and around, rather close to the top of the radiator. I know that a 14b and 60-1 are very different, but the routing I'm speaking of is the same :D

i just ended up putting a t3/60-1 on my laser. The outlet needs to be rotated. Just loosen the bolts on the back of the compressor housing and it should allow it to move. On a side note if you are using a dnp manifold and to4s cover you will have a problem with any fans fitting on the back side of the radiator.

Well I fixed my exhaust leak... funny story...
I forgot to take the washers off before I put the tubular manifold/ gasket on ( it was late )
Imagine how bad that leak was LOL...

As for rotating the comp. housing.... which O'CLOCK did you rotate it to??
Its at 6 o'clock right now... obviasly

I just moved it to the point where it wasn't going to hit. I left the bolts loose on the compressor housing and rotated it on the car until it was clear. With my dnp manifold setup I was able to tighten the bolts back down with a boxed end wrench.
