Hello. I am trying to take my 16G turbo apart to port it. I have removed the clamp and the two housing are not seperating. My old 14B would fall apart easily, this one is stuck. Ive pried on it, taped it with a hammer and nothing is working. Any ideas on how to get this apart? Thank you.

Some of them can be a bi***, tap harder if you've got the clamping ring off it. Maybe soak it with some PB blaster or WD 40. It's the rust/corrosion that's grown in between the two housings that sticking them together, along with the extreme heat it's probably been subjected to over the years (assuming the turbo is used)

If it's new, just tap harder and try to work it off evenly by moving your tapping around the circumference of the housing

ill be tackling it in the morning, i wana pull it apart and port it like in the other posts on here, thank you all for your help so far
