Yes, an 18g will bolt on (With a mitsu install kit...), but why would you want one when a evo3 WILL MAKE MORE POWER, SPOOL FASTER, AND BE CHEAPER than an 18g? Stop pissin into the wind.

If u read and get lots of info then your wrong on that one pal. The reason that everyone always says that the 18g is not as great as the EV0 3 well no one has really ever tested the waters of the 18G not a lot of info on it because not a lot of people want to pay the price ask some one that has gone from an EV0 3 to an 18g they will tell u hands down the 18g out performs it may take a little more time for spool but it gets the job done from all the info I have done witch I a lot but I just thought it was a little different then the 16 g install kit but I guess not.

$100 more for a turbo max rated at 20 less horsepower than an Evo3-16g has already put down on a dyno is not worth it IMO. But spend your money as you wish.

Can someone address what this guy may or may not have done wrong to end up with a relatively new turbo taking a shit on him?
Chances are that without knowing the exact cause and a method of prevention, his new 18g would realize the same death.

Like he said, theres not much more you can do if you've have the intake and filter on.. yet this damage must have been cause by something right?

Something probably got left in the filter and he didn't realize it. Not much can chew the top of the inducers like that other than a foreign object.
