turbo a 2g 420a and destroy a 4g63

putting a turbo on a 420a motor will make you one of the fastest cars on the block. with the 420a you can't run as much boost as a 4g63, but when you both line up all he will be seeing is tailligths.you can handle more boost with a few hundren in engine internals. plus you will get a lot more props for taking a non-turbo and boosting it.I have a 50 shot on my motor now and i just put the order on a hann racecraft turbo kit. i am looking foward to destroying every 4g63 on the street. what everyday driven 4g63 can hang with a built, boosted and juiced 420A.......

What makes you think slapping a turbo on your Neon motor will make you faster than "us"? Many of us are above and beyond 300 hp, and some even above 400hp. So how do you think your FWD turbo Neon will beat MY 300+ hp AWD GSX? Not many turbo Neons can keep up w/ even a midly modified 4g63.

Most of us dont rip on the 420a unless given a reason, And please dont give us any of that "when I get a turbo my car........" Thats lame as FUXK dude. Because if your getting a bigger turbo then hell I should too.........."HEY WAITER, Two turbos over here, make mine bigger!" No one should talk shist unless they got a dyno sheet, timeslip or races under there belt. Im not fast my best was 14.5 but when I get my upgraded turbo (see how lame that is?) I'll rock John Sheperd! I will be running 8's! On a stock motor! (see, you cant say stuff like this! Its silly!)


So are you racing TJH_DSM or do you have to wait to get your turbo kit? Or is it "ON ORDER"? Or "Back order"?

If I read the thread right I believe I was asking diamond star if he is racing TJH-dsm. Because TJH-DSM challenged him to race. At that point I was making fun of Diamond star (and other defencive 420aers) by saying "do you have to get your turbo or is it on backorder....yada yad yada yadddaaa. We all read it, right? It was just making fun of any one who talks shist about how they will walk anything when infact they didnt even buy the part yet. Im sure they dog eared the page or circled it!

It just makes me mad when people say anything like "when I get my turbo Im gunna own you!" or "My car will run a 9 second 1/4 no problem, just wait, just wait!"

I get that shist so fuxckin much. My buddie has been working on his mustang 5.0 for a year and I walked him so hard in my 14.5 sec gsx! Not to fast! His car has a 351 windsor motor fully built up and a c4 tranny that was supposed to eat me alive. You can have anything but it doesnt mean it will run right or be fast if your an idiot!

Okay then I myself have both a 420a and a 4g63 and love them both. They produce alot of power and kick for the buck. I would love to turbo the 420a to get one on the insurance compaines though, that would make it all worth while.

back to what you said though, yes some people are ignorant but it is all good, i could give a damn less just hate that neon bullcrap, it is a DSM just like everyother eclipse,talon,laser. either 420a or 4g63 it is a DSM nothing else.

I know Silent... I am in KCDSM w/ him. If he says he can build it up, he can... Put enough money and time into an engine, you can do a lot with it. Except with mine... I have to pull the $#@^ engine because I got a bad one...

It's simple as this... a STOCK 4G63 will put out ~200hp (195hp in the books actually). Many DSM owners have doubled, yes, DOUBLED the STOCK hp with bolt-on parts alone.

You buy your 420a and I'll buy my 4G63. I don't give a sh*t about what car it's in, insurance costs, stock stickers (i.e. "16v DOHC Turbo All Wheel Drive"), color of handles, etc. I'm going to spend ALOT less money than you will to run <= 14.9 in the 1/4. Actually I won't be spending anything!
If your not 14.9 or quicker, you're not fast.

~$2k-3k to slap a turbo on the 420a and prep the motor to handle it, to match my stock times? Give me ~$2k-3k to play with on the 4G63, and I'll be waiting for you in the 11's.
