turbine wheels?

I pulled the turbo wheels off and on the back compressor wheel it seems as if it made contact with the backing plate so its a small ring going aound the outer edge but the blades are in good condition same as with the exhaust wheel its missing a small peice from the back but the blades are good, will I need new wheels or not?

Definitely not.

You should have the wheels rebalanced, however.

This type of damage normally happens when in/out shaft play occurs. Did you figure out what caused the shaft play that lead to the wheels being damaged?

well I dont see any of the 4 clips to hold the bearings in place so maybe things just got loose internally and caused it to have in and out shaft play, when I got it the wheels wouldnt even spin freely but then when I took it apart and cleaned the deposits and reassembled everthing theres no in/out just a little up and down. Hey but one thing I did notice was one of the brass bushings had oil deposits and the holes were closed up that may have lead to a blown turbo, you said the wills are unuseable or just need to be rebalanced? thanks
