Is the turbine wheel one piece with the shaft of is there a way to get it off the shaft? I was done rebuilding my turbo and was putting the nut back and the shaft broke:banghead:I miss read the torque specs, stupid me:banghead:

Yes, the turbine wheel is one peice with the shaft. The compressor wheel comes off of the shaft but not the turbine wheel. You are going to have to find another shaft/turbine wheel and get a shop to balance the CHRA since you are using a different turbine.

Yea, why were YOU rebuilding? I blew through 3 turbos once before i realized what was wrong LOL. It needs to be balanced at 100,000 rpm. Something there is NO way you can do. Contact FP and see what they can do.

Yes, they are all one piece. I stock new TD05H turbines at all times if you're in need of one.

Yea, why were YOU rebuilding?
Because it's something that anyone can do with the proper tools and a little mechanical know-how.

You do not need to rebalance a turbo anytime it's disassembled. In addition, very few balancing machines actually spin the parts at 100k, so you're 0 for 2.

Contact FP and see what they can do.
They can charge you a lot of money for parts that can be purchased elsewhere for much less.

Ah I figured it was the 16G listed in your profile.

T28 parts are hard to acquire, although Garrett parts are normally slightly cheaper than their MHI equivalent. Get in touch with Turbochargers.com or G-Pop Shop with the specifics of your wheel as there are a couple different turbines used on the T28.
