turbine housing outlet

Okay I searched over the internet and couldn't find much info, so is there minimal/major performance difference between a 2.5in 3 bolt outlet and a 3in vband outlet say I'm running a gt35r with front exit exhaust.

Logically lets think about this..What size exhaust would yield the most power potential..Slightly bigger than stock, OR much larger than stock.

Do it once and go 3 inch.

There is no question about the size of the exhaust, in fact I'd use 3.5" if you have room. But the most important part is a smooth transition from the turbine exducer to the inside wall of the exhaust tubing. Making this as cone-shaped as possible is going to free up power by decreasing turbulence.
