I've been told that no one gets down into the 11's, 10's without a flown blown stand alone. How much truth is there to this.

Also I've heard of a lot of guys selling their AFC's since the newest MAFT and a chip tends to take care of all their tuning. Anyone running this setup?

Thanks

There are plenty of people that go faster than 12's without a standalone. Buschur is a prime example of what can be done with a stock ecu and a piggyback system. If you go with a chip like the one from dsmchips the good thing about that is you can get larger injectors compensated for. You will not have to fight with the timing problems you will encounter with a piggyback.
