tuning for passing emissions... how much fuel to take out?

hey guys i have a 92 tsi awd that failed emisisons pretty bad max HC is 200 i got 500 and max CO is 1% i got 8%. i have a cat and upgraded fuel system etc. now im going to tune the car to put in less fuel at lower rpms, how much fuel is safe to take out. -20%, or more? what else can I do to help emissions? i have a tmo stage 3 ecu.

Set everything back to zero

SupraTT pump and no AFPR

I'll bet your base FP is clost to 50psi which will be impossible to tune out with an AFC.

I'd say either buy an AFPR or put your stock pump back in, then get your fuel trims even. You should pass as long as everything else is in good shape.
