tsi under full boost hit fuel cut?

I have a 97tsi 6bolt swaped.my problem is when I get in full boost its like wiplash. 1st grear fine 2nd gear dose it around 6k rpms 3rd and 4th is at 5k rpm 5th fine. Is this fuel cut or to much fuel. It dose idle around 2k rpms no boost leaks ive tryed uping fuel its wrose down to 40psi of fuel little better should I turn it lower. Im stuck don't no what's going on mods are na turbo tb, rc550cc
Injecters, blance shafts removed, 12psi of boost 255 hf walbro, actclutch and flywheel afpr, no tune.help please.

Are you using any type of tuning solution (Link, AEM, SAFC), or still using the stock ECU with non-stock parts and boost levels?

My first suggestion would be to either track down some stock injectors or buy something to tune with. Just adjusting fuel pressure is a pretty sketchy way of "tuning" and you're pretty much guaranteed to damage something with no way of making fuel/timing adjustments or logging to see what you're changes actually did.

I would try to source an adjustable fuel pressure regulator and something to tune with so you can datalog, like mentioned already

Personally i use AEM, but there is literally thousands of pages of help and support for link both here and on the link forums. Just take your time, do your research, and ask for some help and you should be fine.

Using a afc would help but it really has limits that a good tune would be better for with a dsmlink or something else. Do not pay out twice for a tuning upgrade. Go for the long term solution.

No offense, but a little grammar and punctuation would help us understand your problems. From what i can tell you have about half the parts you need to be running properly.

Your problem right now is that you're running 12lbs of boost with 40psi of fuel pressure through 550cc injectors that are meant to run with 36psi of fuel pressure, while your ECU is mapped for a maximum if 10-12lbs of boost at 36psi of fuel pressure through 450cc injectors.

So, to answer some of your questions without throwing too much math at you, too much pressure through too big of injectors means you are running too much fuel across the map. At peak boost you are also running off the end of the ECU's fuel time table.

You could theoretically lower your fuel pressure until you're flowing near stock levels of fuel, but it would be much safer and easier to set your fuel pressure to stock and put your stock injectors back into until you get some way to tune for the larger injectors, higher fuel pressure, and higher boost.
