i have been trying to tune with e85 . aem ugo wb

i have 880s and a hx35 at 15psi fully built engine . And its getting fast but Im running in to a brick wall with my afrs. No matter how much fuel i add they stay the same i even pull timing and it knocks it down to 12:2

today i rewired the fuel pump and i noticed a lil difference in the sound of the pump higher pitched but still running in to a wall at 15 psi with no fuel running lean

even with higher base pressure its doing the same thing its a wally 255

i have a buddy with a lph 225 high pressure similar to a bosh 044

he says his out flows the 044 and my 255 ?

so my next question could i run that 225 inline with the wally 255 or just pull the 255 out and just run the 225

the 225 looks just like the bosh 044 but a lil bigger

what i am tuning for is 20 psi to get the hx35 in its power range

the idc is about 85 at wot at 12:7 afr

my fuel lines are still stock

i do have a afpr {Aem}

Check your fuel filter to make sure you don't have a restriction. Your 255lph with 880s should handle 20psi easily. Unless you are on E85.

anyone know of a good metal fuel filter that bolts up to our 1gs ?

even with higher base pressure its doing the same thing its a wally 255

With higher pressure, the pump will actually flow less; not more. But your injector duty cycles will drop since the injectors aren't having to work as hard with the higher pressure in the rail.

Since you have a "little" room left in your injectors to use as a test, try dropping your base pressure a couple of psi and see if your AFR's drop. Watch your IDC's though to make sure they don't go above 95%. Note that this should be a temporary test...ideally you want IDC's below 80%.

Is the pump rewired? How much voltage are you seeing at the pump and at the battery during WOT?

Something definitely isn't right though. How much airflow are you seeing? At only 15psi on the HX35, you shouldn't be running out of fuel yet at an AFR of 12.7, which is approaching lean even for E85.

And... post up a log. ;)
