Hi there. Lately I have been having this problem of when I floor it, especially in the lower gears, the car tends to stutter under full boost. If you only half floor it and it hits near full boost it seems to be fine. It's only when you completely floor it. It is hitting about 15psi peak, and I can't get it any lower with my manual boost controller. (It's all the way out.) Anyone have and ideas? My car/mods are in my profile. Thanks.

if you know a friend or mechanic with a code reader, borrow it. There's a chance you have a faulty sensor.
It could be a number of things that's causing your problem. a datalogger will tell you a lot about how your engine is running. Seriously consider getting one. :thumb:

Stuttering under boost is attributed to poor ignition systems.
Bad spark plugs, wrong spark plugs, or incorrectly gapped spark plugs.
You need NGK BPR6ES or BPR7ES (for the more modified people) gapped at .028".
Check your spark plug wires for corrosion.
Check your coil pack and transister pack.

Yeah I am definately recirculating. I did have a problem with a bad spark plug wire about 3 months ago. I work for Ford and they have a code scanner, but that won't do any good unless the check engine light is on? Or does it still read some sort of code? Yeah I'm soon to get a data logger since I have an safcII just recently installed. I'll look into the ignition system then. Thanks for the suggestions!

I had the same problem 2 days ago so I checked my spark plugs and they were gapped to .48 I took em down .28 and the car runs better than ever. They must have been like that for awhile I just never noticed because I NEVER went wot because of reliability issues...now everythings working great.

So I went and got the stock NGK plugs from Mitsubishi and put them in and... NO MORE STUTTERING!!! There were some bosch platinums in there before. Just wanted to say thank you all very much for the input and she runs perfect again! :thumb:
