I bought a 5speed 1995 talon tsi awd yesturday. It runs really good until I hit the highway then it starts to miss. I can drive it around town(under 60mph) all day and not have any problems, then as soon as I jump on the highway for a couple minutes, it develops a miss. when I pull of the highway it will continue to miss untill I park it for a half hour, then I start it up, and it runs fine. This car had new ngk plugs and cheap napa wires put on it 3 days ago. Any help would be great. I have done research and I can not find this exact problem, thanks

does it have any "aftermarket" parts on it?
mainly a boost gauge, if it does have one what's it read?
while accelerating, keeping a steady speed, and slowing down while in gear, and idle of course?
