Hi guys im new here im going to start off by saying im not going to lie i dont own a dsm i made this name here because i need your guys help. I have built a 81 yamaha xj650 motorcycle completely custom its fuel injected and turbo using a TD05H numbers on it are 49178-01010 i drove it all summer 4k miles no problems well its under the knife again new intake manifold new turbo manifold ect but i need help increasing the spool time on this turbo i really dont want to lose the reliability of these turbos always have had good luck with them. I believe i have a 7cm housing on it now im looking to improve the spool time any little thing will help let me know what info you guys need from me to make this easy thanks again for all help.

I agree with Justin if you need to stick with a DSM turbine housing then the T-25 from a auto 2g is the best choice. In fact I would say its too big for a 650cc but way better then the 14b he's running now.
 
hey guys need some help again theres a guy on the forum here that has a td04hl numbers on it are 49177-01910 what the difference in td04 and a td04hl ??? thanks guys
 
digging up this old thread of mine well i ended up with a 13g last year and this riding season i dynoed the bike on 13psi made 97whp then i turned it up to 21psi but never dynoed again but the turbo took a crap on me now a rebuild will not fix it needs a shaft and comp wheel so now im on the hunt for another 13g or maybe that t25 off a auto or any ideas on another option now that im wanting to run 20+psi thanks for all your help

Well that answered a question I had awhile back.. buying a felpro kit I recieved a gasket that was off-center... I thought it was a flaw and tossed it.. looks like it does have a use! Anyways, sorry to get off topic just wanted to say thanks.

Not a wtb ad just looking for info on what turbo mite be a better option now since I'm running higher boost
