Ok I have read a few threads on this but none of these really explain what i'm looking for.

I didn't write the code down, but the car threw a code for Barometer Sensor. Where is this sensor located in the car. I heard its in the MAF/MAS. If so what do I have to do to fix it? Any help would be appreciated, thank you.

Code P0105. Yes it's in the MAS. It's usually a bad connection on the 8 pin connector (it uses pins 1, 2, 5, 6). If not that it can be the sensor itself or ECU (check for leaky caps).

thanks I will get that checked out ASAP. Also how do you check for leaking capacitors?

DSM ECU's used poor quality capacitors which with age sometimes leak their electrolite out which smells like rotten eggs or antifreeze. It leaks out the caps onto the board which can short out things. Open up the ECU and smell and look for leaking caps.

yeah def. doing that tomorrow when I wake up. Let me ask you, if so the caps are ok, and then I check the wiring and all and the wiring is ok, and its just actually the sensor itself, then I would have to replace the whole MAF/MAS unit. So instead of doing that what if I replace it with the 3inch GM unit with a MAF translator, would that fix the problem?

Thank you!

OK well today I swapped out MAF/MAS with a friend of mine, I disconnected the negative terminal on the battery and the CEL was off. I took it for a spin around the block, and after I let it idle for a few minutes it came back on, so i'm assuming that the sensor itself wasn't bad. Now I don't get any weird odors at all inside or outside the car. But when I have a chance I will definetely take out the ECU and open it up and check for the leaky caps. It's just hot as hell here in Miami. I'll probably wait till the sun goes down a bit and then take out the ECU. Well I just figured i'll keep you guys updated. I'll let you'll know how things go once I take the ECU out. Thanks!

OK well update. I didn't get to take the ECU out. I've been extremely busy and tired due to freaking work. Well I bought some electrical part cleaner. I sprayed it inside the MAF/MAS on the connector and plug make sure everything was cleaned. I put it all together, I pulled the negative battery terminal off for a few minutes. After I put it back on I have now driven the car for easily about 30 miles and no CEL yet. So hopefully that was the problem. If anything changes I'll keep you guys updated. Hopefully this can help some of you guys out there dealing with the same issue.

I just pulled this CEL today, I also noticed my idle would be a little rough at times. When I would let off the gas and engine brake, I noticed the exhaust making a weird gurgling noise that it never made before (like I'm running rich perhaps).
