trouble code p1103

ok so i did a run on my car yesturday and it seemed like it kept getting fuel cut once my foot was to the floor...i must of hit it like 4 or 5 times...today i noticed a p1103 code which is turbocharger wastegate actuator malfuncion...if the fuel cut hit to many time could it set that code off? never had a problem with it before...any ideas"?

Never have worked on a car with a turbocharger in it. But let me look on my Mitchell real quick.

From what my resource tells me you need to check your waste gate actuator. It is telling me that you need to run a pressure test in 2nd gear. But all the test is doing is checking the pressure of the waste gate. So like I said check out that actuator. It could be causing you your code.

hitting fuel cut can trigger this code your wastegate solenoid or boost control is what keeps you from hitting fuel cut so if the boost pressure raises above 16psi the ecu will see this as your wastegate solenoid malfunction just reset the ecu and dont hit fuel cut! this will happen more often when its cold out if your car is not tunned
