Hello guys!
I´m about to do timing belt and BS elimination this tread is just for you guys to check if I have everything I need and to post some questions I might have during the process. Since I live outside the US and it takes almost 2 weeks to get parts down here so I want to be 100% sure I have everything plus this is the first time I´m doing a BS elimination.
I´ll be doing this with the engine in the car. (I know PITA)

Tools:
Jay racing timing belt tools
Torque wrench and all king of sockets from 8mm to 32mm
2 jack stands
High temp RTV

Parts:
All OEM
Timing Belt
Pulleys
Tencioner
Water pump
Felpro complete front case gasket set (from Extreme PSI)
OE Balance shaft bearings front and rear
OE stub and plug

Am I missing something? I will follow the VFAQ here to do the elimination and hope for the best
Any tips are welcome.

Maybe a hammer for the bearing install, some jb weld for the plug install, and you will need some red loctite, otherwise you are good to go. Oh wait you're missing the most important part of all, beer...:thumb:

Just make sure your torque wrench does inch and foot, They jay's racing tool for the tensioner is turned to inch pounds, and then the bolt on it is turned to foot pounds.

Tip: Remove the support arm below the OFH and oil pump. And jack it up from the transmission side to angle it down toward you to give you as much room as possible.

Yes that was one of my main concerns on how to get it low enough to remove the front case so I basically have to remove all engine mounts except for the one on the tranny side! Will the tranny bolts and mount hold the rest with just a jack stand underneath it?

Got hammer, I don´t have jb weld and loctite, I don´t think I might be able to find JB weld here tho  any other similar product?

There are many products that will work, jb weld or some variant should be available at any hardware store. Another product that would certainly do the trick would be quick steel which can be found in the plumbing department at home depot/lowes/menards. If you have a car parts store near you just check though the different epoxies that they sell, many will work.

I have high temp epoxy I was thinking of using this one hope it does the trick. Thanks man

Make absolute sure you're getting the OEM Mistubishi stubby shaft with the groove in it. Keep seeing people get the other one, and it shreds your oil pump up, sending sparkly material all through your engine. I know your list says "OE" but still..

What's the epoxy for? Please not the oil pan.

Ok guys! I finished the bs delete put everything back togeteher and filled with oil and no leaks so far but time will tell, I feel pretty confident I did it right and wasn't that hard the only real problem and a pain is to work in that very very tight space. Now I'm putting everything together tonight I'm goint to put the water pump and I have a question in the VFAQ it say to put a very thin layer of RTV the day before instalation to hold the gasket on the pump in place so I did. Should I put rtv on the gasket also before I bolt it on the block or the gasket should be enough?

You still have to rotate it though, you need to block it to keep you oil pressure.

Not true with the rear bearing. The shaft itself is what supplies the oil, not the oil galleys.

As for the gasket, I always install gaskets dry. A small bit of RTV can help keep gaskets in place, but the gasket is what seals.

Ok last question what's the torque for the tensioner bolts I really can't find the info nowhere not tensioner pulley but the auto tensioner itself, I toque it to 27 ft/lb same as the idler pulley but I'm not sure if that's ok!

So guys I finished everything but still have questions first thing first... Is my timing marks ok..

I know since I deleted the BS that doesn't matter where the oil pump mark is but still I wanted to have it right so when I turn the engine six times I have more reference points to check if every thing is ok
The VFAQ is very very confusing and also it has some mistakes so alone with VFAQ I followed this 2 threads thread 1 and thread 2 plus lots of reading throw the forum but I still have some questions 1 asking again what is the torque spec for the tensioner (auto-tensioner)? and 2 how to check belt deflection?
