alrighty fellas, been working on my 97 gst for a while now. it keeps throwing a check engine giving me 2 codes

a random misfire and one for the barometric pressure sensor. this misfire has been haunting me and is driving me insane. i just replaced the maf sensor with a brand new one so i dunno if that's the problem but im still getting a code.

replace spark plugs like socks because of misfires. using ngk bpr7es spark plugs and new coils and wires.

really just want this to be over with...

any thoughts?

did a boost leak test, boost leak is pretty bad from previous owner. even has atmospheric dump instead of recirc.
i have been testing stuff as i go. everything i replaced needed replacing
Yeah thats a problem. Recirculate. Wouldve been nice to know this first.

Home Depot spa hose or get some radiator hose and make it work. I did this on my gvr4 found some radiator hose and got a plastic adapter piece from ace hardware. Since it was a weird angle and I couldn't find a exact hose to fit. I used the adapter in between the hose and it works perfect. Has been working for 3-4 years with no issues, never blown off or leaked or anything. Probably cost like $5-6 to make.

I can't see right now your profile petegsx, but if you are running speed density then you will not have issues running an atmosphere dump.
