I was just driving down the road, heard a horrible loud grinding noise, popped her into neutral to take a turn, then got it back into first, then as i was downshifting to take another turn not even 20 seconds later, my front passenger wheel locks up and wont move forward. this happened smack dab in the middle of the road mind you.
I'm in a FWD n/t 94 talon. as it was getting dragged onto the flatbed, the passenger wheel was jerking backwards, and the drivers wheel was spinning the correct way.
I had just spent 500+ bucks to get new wheels put on and aligned not even an hour b4 this happened ><.
As for the tranny, It's had a bad seal since it was rebuilt *Not under my ownership* and oozed a little bit of lube onto my clutch, so it randomly likes to slip at high rpm's in third gear. but thats another issue entirely.
So could it be possible that the last of the lube has oozed out over the last few months? Though there have been no tall-tale puddles under my car and everything else seemed to be in working order for my drivetrain. Or does the tranny just need rebuilt again. (believe it was last done in 2004 but from 2004 to 2012 the car sat in a garage not being driven but like twice. So the rebuilt from 04 to now only has like 4000 miles on it.
