transmission cooling lines

A friend put a new radiator in my 98 eclipse rs. 2.0dohc non Turbo. He said he's not sure if he got the transmission cooling hoses backwards. There's two that run into radiator. Any one know where I could find out which goes to which radiator opening

stick shift does not have a trans cooler.

The hoses can go either way. It doesn't matter. Also was there a need to make 2 threads for the same question?
