1G oil cooling lines

So my oil cooling lines from the cooler to the oil filter housing are leaking really bad. I was looking around and i cant seem to find a replacement. Should i cut them and put rubber hoses and clamp them? Or does anyone else know a better idea?

Rubber hose will work thats how mine is.

Judging from your pic, I'm assuming you have the 90-91 air-cooled setup? You could probably get away with using high pressure hose and fuel injection clamps, but a better option would be braided hose and -AN fittings.

You could do a cooler delete. Just order the plugs from a vendor such a STM.

I went to my local napa and picked up some of their double layered silicone hosing. Not the cheapo stuff that's more decorative than anything. I had him look up the specs on it. It safe working pressure was 300psi with a temp rating of 700 degrees. Works great! For the line that goes up to the water pipe, I covered it with a woven spark plug boot cover. Napa has those too, 10 bucks for two of them and it's material like header wrap cloth. That line is just so close to the down pipe and o2 housing I didn't want it to melt I'll post up some pics later today[DOUBLEPOST=1411618623][/DOUBLEPOST]Sorry I hope the pic turns out ok. It's not cheap hosing, it's 12 bucks a foot! But definitely won't need to replace it for awhile. Sorry it's a little dirty under there

Boy that alternator lug sure is close to the intercooler pipe too!

Loosen the nut and rotate that lug asap. If its touching the pipe like that, the vibration is going to eventually finish off the already frail, 20+ year old insulation on that wire and then its going to arc a nice hole in that pipe...

Its close on mine too but do yourself a favor for the future and just face the lug down so you don't short out in the middle of no where. Just a tip. My track is 1 hr and 20 min from my place and I would hate to short out at midnight coming home.
