Thanks.

I saw those pics in your other post I believe, and to me that is NOT normal. It looks like the T case was walking out from the output shaft to me, but then again, I dont see how thats possible.

How many miles did that combo have?

Yes, i got no responces in there.. figured alot of people didn't read everything too closely and didnt figure i was asking for help in a build thread.

The combo has aprox 80,000 KM's on it, its low mileage, as far as i can tell from previous work done on the car that the old owner did a great job on everything, nothing was done half assed or backyard style, i was actually impressed with alot of things, so i dont feel its from neglect.

Regardless, when i pulled the Tcase off it fit on the transmission VERY tight, i had to wiggle and pry very slightly especially to get the inital movement, There was no feel of slop of it just falling out once we had removed the bolts, i had a friend help me there were 2 of us doing it.

I emailed sheptrans and they said they couldn't view the pictures.

I had wear on my t-case and I had to have it replaced. The shaft is very expensive so finding a good used unit is the way to go. You may need to replace the input on the tranny if it was worn to much.

Ok i will run this setup on low power, There is a pick and pull at a local auto junkyard, they have an event 3x a year $50 and all you can carry out, last time i took a longblock, and transmission i paid for one of my friends.

I plan to get a 6bolt and a trasfer case/transmission this year.

Something to build, and a core to send out to shep trans to get it built, i will just run my current setup on low power for the time being, just to get tuned (tuning in FWD only).

Thanks.
