I purchase a set of Jacks 4.1 transmission and transfer case back in Nov/Dec 2010. After months of troubleshooting slipping issues I finaly figured out the root cause of the slip back in May 2011. To make a long story short, I was sent a 22 spline tranny and a 23 spline transfer case. Suprisingly, it all bolted together and it ran fine until it boosted over 8 psi or when making sharp turns. My friend pneumo has been telling me to look at the output shaft, but I didn't bother since it's a new tranny. Jon from TRE called it out also"output shaft worn out" but I didn't listen:banghead:. I know I should have double checked but I trusted everything was correct. The output shaft splines eventualy wore out and shredded all the teeth back in May 2011. It also damaged the some gears inside the tranny due to shock.

Morale of the story, double check the parts you receive even it's from a reputable company. Jack transmission backs up their products 100% and had my replacement in less than three weeks :hellyeah:. I would rate their customer service 10 out of 10.

So learn from my mistake and always double check.
