Like the title says, I am wondering if you can put the 23 spline gearset in the case of a 22 spline transfer case housing? It would be nice to have the strength of the 23 spline t-case in the lightweight aluminum 22 spline case. Unless that is, the reason the 23 spline t-case is stronger is because of the steel case... Wisemen! Where are you!?
