ok ive got a 1g awd and i noticed yesterday i was leaking fluid i check and its coming off my transmission so i check my fill and drain plugs fine checked the axles there in someone told me it could be coming from the transfer case seal is that possible? if so how hard is it to replace?

The transfer case seal usually leaks out back where the driveshaft goes in. The fluid wouldn't be on your transmission. Where on the tranny is the fluid dripping from? Pictures would help. Did you check the level of the tranny fluid?

yeah i changed in last night it only had about 1 1/2 to 2 qts of fluid its dripping in the center of the trans it looks like its coming down the back

Well if the tranny fluid is that low, it's obviously not the transfer case.
Are you sure the axle seals are ok? That's exactly the spot mine was leaking when my driver's side seal was bad. It dripped onto the top of the transfer case and then around onto the back of the tranny. Made it look like the T-case was leaking.

Hey, you're in Torrington, take it to TTmotorsports. LAWLROFL

ok got under the car is coming off the trans on the passanger side im guessing maybe the axle pop out a tad. so heres my next question. should there be a small gap between the axle and trans or should there be none what so ever?

There shouldn't be a gap. The axle should be relatively tight against the seal. That's probably your leak.
