Transfer Case bolts images

Hey guys I know this is going to sound stupid, but I need help taking my transfer case off, while I'm removing my transmission and putting a 2600 on. Vfaq shows an image of where the transfer case bolts are, and I know there are 5 total but maybe I'm turning blind; because I can't see but like 2-3. I also gotta get a crows foot or something to get my downpipe off with because I have no room to put a wrench or anything on it. If anyone has a picture that shows the transfer case from underneath the car showing where the bolts are that I need to take off I'd greatly appreciate it. Thanks again.

There is a bolt on the top of the transfer case, that is the tough one to see....you gotta feel it with your hand.

If you get under the car, all 5 bolt heads face the driver side.

yeah that was the picture that confused the living crap out of me. I guess tomorrow I'll get underneath the car again and start digging around. Thanks guys

That one on the top right, you need to get it with your hand....you wont be able to see it. Get a long extension in there and crack that sucker loose

the above are all correct. theres a skill that you really need to work on these cars, being able to "See" with your hands. maybe its just me, but when i go to work on stuff thats in a small space, or under the car, I just close my eyes and kinda zen out. it simplifies things alot

I totally understand. I'm the central IL transfer case removal/installation specialist it seems like. Haha.

As you get older you can't really see too well under the car unless it's on a lift so you have to feel you way around anyway. It's either too close for the glasses or too far away without them.

it's all good guys.

when i swapped clutches because i thought i blew one at the track (actually ended up being my center diff that i blew up) my transfer case only had 3 bolts in it, 2 of which were lock tighted and the other one i could take out with my hand.

oh the joys of previous owners.

I haven't had time to go and get underneath and feel/look. I was just confused as too if they were all on the drivers side or not, and I'll get them off tomorrow. My plan for having my car done by the end of weekend is shot but hey what else is new.

Okay today is the day that I plan on having my transmission and tcase off my car so I can start tomorrow on the other car tomorrow that has all the parts I need. Wish me luck, and yet again THANK YOU GUYS for helping me

It may stick a lil when tryin to prying it off cause there is guide pin on the front of the transfer..
